I have multiple issues with my airbag module, can I get a deal on multiple repairs on one module?

You can mail-in you module for repair please see this info page – http://www.crash-data.co.uk/mail-in-your-device/

What should I include when I am shipping my device to you?

Do I have to include my vehicle registration with my module?

No, we don’t need this to carryout the repair. But you can provide this or what car it is from as this can be helpful.

Do you need my phone number ?

yes, please fill out all contact details on the form, we don’t always need to speak with you regarding the repair but on the odd occasion we may do and it will help keep the repair time short.

Liquid Damage Service

What should I do if my module is flooded?

It is best to get the module to us as quickly as possible, as it increases the chances of being able to clean the module before the PCB corrodes.

My Module is covered in syrup like sticky substance, what is it?

It is common to see modules covered in fizzy drink like Coca Cola as the module is normally located under the centre console where the drinks holders are. It isn’t normally a problem unless there has been so much spilt it has managed to ingress to the PCB.

Water damage repairs generally take between 24 and 72 hours to complete depending on the level of damage. This estimate can vary, however, depending on the extent of the damage to the PCB and or other components.

 Data Recovery & Clone Service

In most cases we would recommend clone over, what we would do is recover the data from the damaged module and clone this data over to a used working module, this would make the otherwise unusable second hand part fully compatible with you car.

We can recover the data from the module and transfer it over to another module then repair as normal.

I damaged the connector on the module when removing it, the plasctic is snapped and some of the pins are bent. is this repairable?

Yes, in most cases. we can replace the complete connector assembly or we can clone over the data to a undamaged module.
